Chad Kroeger must pay a $600 fine and is prohibited from driving for one year for a 2006 drunk-driving offence, a judge said Thursday morning in Surrey, B.C., during a court appearance by the group's lead singer.

Kroeger, whose real name is Chad Turton, was pulled over for speeding in his Lamborghini in June 2006 with almost twice the legal alcohol limit in his system.
